Chat up line

I'm sure we all remember in the video for "I'm Not Okay" when Frank came out with the epically AMAZING chat-up line of "You know... you've something in your eye"... Only for the poor girl to discover that he meant that rather literally. Silly girl, everyone could see he only had eyes for Gerard in that video.

However, his "subtle" chat up lines would come into play later in his life when, after a night of vandilism and grafiti, he would whisper such tender words to his life-long companion, best friend and occasional druken make-out buddy, Gerard a.k.a. Party Poison.

Gee genuinely wasn't sure if Frank meant it literally or as a line but seconds after the moment depicted, he found out... but I'll leave it up to you to decide what it was


Random arty side notes: Handdrawn and coloured using Letraset Promarkers. I'm so stupidly happy with how the sky turned out in this one. I used the Danger Days album cover for a colour reference and basically, instead of letting each ink colour dry before adding the next one, I worked quickly while they were still wet, layering them over each other to let them bleed together.
